Comment | T. Khaukhchishvili: “I.e. the victory of Tamar’s troops is more laudable, than Alexander’s victory over Persian king Darius. Here a well known fact from Alexander Macedonian’s biography is implied: he, as we know, during the sixth year of his reign (i.e. 330 B.C.) captured Darius and “finished the rule of kings in Persia” (Giorgi Amartol, chronologist). |
