According to Korneli Kekelidze, the name Mosimachus, who was renowned for his archery in Alexander Macedonian’s army, appears in Georgian chronicles only in George Hamartolos’ “Chronicles” (K. Kekelidze, “Sketches from Old Georgian Literary History”, I, Tbilisi, 1956, pp. 262-63).
